A.C. Jones aboard Shannon Johnson's Dawson's Spirit,                                        his first show in the Pre-Greens.

First Call Farm, small and intimate, is located just outside of Davidson, NC and overlooks adjacent farmland in all directions.  While A.C. welcomes the opportunity to train or teach for clients who “ship in” their horses, she fills her day riding horses on the farm and interacting with her boarders and their horses, helping them reach their own personal goals as well as attain success in the show ring.  

A.C.’s training applies to Hunters, Jumpers and Hunter Seat Equitation disciplines, focusing on correct equitation in the jumpers as well as in the hunter divisions. When asked, “Do you teach dressage?” A.C. replies, “All good riding is based on dressage as a foundation.” Hours spent on the flat ultimately produces  a  fluid ride over fences in the hunters; and an accurate and  powerful ride  occurring in a timely fashion in the jumpers!
